Athens on a beautiful college day...

Oh, I mean Atlanta on a beautiful spring day, 4 babies in tow and 2 more on the way...things have changed just a little :)

Sweet friends/roommates/groomsmen of Bucky's. How blessed we are to walk through life with amazing people at our side. I wish we could pack up these 2 families and move them to Chattanooga!

More Easter pics...

What a sweet Easter we had with family. Time is so precious with our family!
Our Easter song for the week: He is Lord, He is Lord. He is risen from the dead and He is Lord. Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. So sweet coming from Bo's little mouth.

Easter babies...

MS's 1st Easter. So we needed a picture in the Easter basket! Seems she is a little bigger than her brother was this time of year! I love my sweet babies!
MS @ 8 mos, 1st Easter...

Bo @ 8 mos, 1st Easter...

Are you curious?

Potty trained Bo conversation: Mom walks into the bathroom...
Mom: are you finished?
Bo: go, away, mommy...I need my property (aka privacy)...don't be curious
Mom: don't be curious?!?
Bo: Go away, don't be curious.

Have I ever mentioned that we are pretty sure Bo thinks he is part monkey? He walks like a monkey, talks like a monkey, and loves George. SO much so that we ventured to Atlanta for Curious George LIVE at the FOX. Bo walked in like he owned the place and LOVED it. MS, not so much...a little overstimulated and unable to sleep with all the noise. It was fun to watch Bo!

sipping a little f-o...never actually sip-able b/c they are too frozen!!! very frustrating to a 2.5 y.o.! Yes, he does have a seemingly black eye...can't seem to remember where it came from?
PS: we saw the likes of that hot dog a little later in the day...yikes!

MS is eating a MumMum, not a chili dog...we aren't that bad!

Bucky couldn't hold his excitement for such a fun event (kidding, this was torture for him).

He kind of looks like George, do you agree? :) Sweet boy!

February into March...

Really...I took 2 pictures in February? MS turned 7 months and I didn't even snap a picture in her too big onesie (which isn't actually big on my oversized child). So let's move onto March. Our 3rd snow followed by super warm weather--typical spring! MS started crawling this month and Bo's days are full of WORMS! Worms in the house, on the porch, worms. Our hunting has slowed down after Bo dropped a rock on his finger and "smashed" it (his words). We continue to be amazed by his ever growing vocabulary, busy body, and amazingly sweet heart. He may look like his momma, but he has the tenderness of his daddy.

No, socks cannot be used in place of mittens!

So many snowmen this year!!!

Showing off his worm stash (can you see on the rock?)...he doesn't understand quite yet that worms need dirt like we need air! Poor worms!
Look...Worms!!!!

Warm day at the park...MS pre-crawling days...much easier at the park!

sweet friends anna & noah over for a playdate.

January

MS turned 6 mos & got her 2 bottom teeth (the cutest!). She started sitting on her own very well and continues to amaze us with her content personality. Bo enjoyed his second snow of the year with a sled ride and some snowmen. Still potty training but we stayed laid back taking our time.

4 months?

Time with my babies trumps the computer every day thus no update in the past 4 months. I applaud those that manage diapers, children, cooking, cleaning, laundry, diapers, errands, grocery visits, exercise, diapers, bible study, husbands, time for self, did I mention diapers, etc, etc, etc and yet still can update often! I am not one of these people.

I will say the time has come & gone in a seemingly fleeting moment as our house is now filled with a running, dancing, talking, active toddler and a sitting, squealing, laughing, oh so smiley baby. So sweet! My days are blessed by these little ones, sweet moments that I wish to engrain in my mind for forever, and much intelligent conversation about poop shaped like all sorts of creatures. At the same time they are also filled with complete...utter...exhaustion.

So, here is the update for December:

1st snow and a little sledding
Christmas morning
What a nice santa...where did he find that bike big enough for a 12 year old?>

MS & sweet Granny Mollie on Christmas day

Mommy/daddy pre-Christmas/no kids trip to Ashville, NC

First bite of cereal

2nd snow of the year! MS sitting up for the first time!

Gingerbread house (by the end of December, Bo had very effectively removed the tops off of all gumdrops)

A few fun things about Bo:

--He talks a lot and says some super funny things.

--Bo is an early bird---sleeping in is 6:15 at our house...he wakes up and says "I want to go to mommy's room & get still"...he is the squirmiest bed partner you have ever seen.

--Loves music, dancing, worms and is very into peter rabbit books right now especially Mr. Jeremy Fischer

A few fun things about Mary Susan:

--MS is sitting very well, scooting on her booty backwards, and dances in the funniest bouncing motion you have ever seen when you sing to her

--She is the sweetest thing you have ever been around with a temperament that makes you want more babies! She is just so content, laid back, and easy going

--She LOVES her brother, watches him like a hawk, searches for him when he is not in the room

--She's a BIG baby--at 6 mos she was 18.2 lbs (90%), 28 inches (way off the chart)...for reference Bo was 19 lbs at 1 year!

MS @ 6 mos:
